Speech was boring, the poem ... well ... sucked ... A lot. The sermon after the poem was also just out there.

Overall the Inaguration was just another Presidential Inaguration. Nothing special about it, only thing different was that the new President is African American and that holds some historical significance to this country. (not that I judge anyone based on the color of their skin, but the media points it out daily)

Barack Obama is our President now, I wish him well in his future endeavors despite hardly liking his political positions. I will support him only as our President and Leader of the United States. Country First.

I went to the Ranger game tonight, and they honored him on the scoreboard... I booed to be different. I don't dislike him, I have season tickets, and I am in charge of making the section laugh... and I succeeded.

I'm not going to lie, it was moving. That may be simply because I was there in person, but it is what it is.

As far as you personal opinions on him as a President, it shouldn't matter. You should all be rooting for him to have a great presidency. Why would you want it any other way?

That's a liberal viewpoint. Sorry, this country is built on dissent of government. We the people are here to make sure our government doesn't screw up yet we've been failing at that for years.

That is something we as Americans have become lethargic towards. Our Government is a PUBLIC Servant to the People and that is how it was founded. Unfortunately it has become corrupt and greedy over the last 100 years and we have let it.

You can say the roles are slowly becoming reversed, but that's because the society as a whole has become so lazy that they can't lift a finger without issuing a complaint about having to do something and demand the government do it for them. Scary.
