How many times must you ask who knows what prog is?
That's cool that she's getting VIP passes. But she could have picked some better bands to sponsor.

Prog = progressive.
A lot of people say it's a genre of metal. I find it's more a descriptive term than a genre.
Some prog bands would be: Dream Theatre, Symphony X, Evergrey, etc...

I remember it like it was yesterday...my first post...and I remember Pika saying "You gotta post here more often" or something like that.

But...yeah.

Yes pancakes i wish that she could sponsor Vanden Plas myself, But all of those bands (Smyphony X , Evergrey, Nightwish) attended Prog Power IV. Glenn Harveston has said that the bands must have a one year break from Prog Power. But it would be nice to see Dream Theater, Pancakes did you know that i have one of the recalled CD's that had New York skyline burning that they released 9/11/01.

Well that is nice. I'm not too big on Dream Theater. I have Images and Words, and Scenes From A Memory... and both are pretty good. Myself? I'd go to see Savatage (the original line up), Edguy, and Pain of Salvation. I imagine with Savatage playing, there will be quite a crowd.

Savatage

My friend(the same one with Pain of Salvation) says that these guys are terrible...but that they were really good when in the Trans-Siberian Orchestra..
Of course, I can't comment on this.
