It seems lately I've been having the hardest time getting my online work done, so I'm up until 1-2am. What keeps you up at night? And, please, nothing explicit. Wink

Stress and overall worry about finances is what tends to keep me up at night. I hate when that happens and anymore lately it seems to be happening quite a bit.

Games, but I've gotten into this HORRIBLE trend of going to sleep at 5<!--s51-->:3<!--/s51-->0am and waking up at 3PM.. its a complete waste of a day.

Mainly that late night is the only time I have to be alone with my husband. We're both at a very busy time professionally and with the kids, so we don't really have time just to unwind and talk together until night.

I'm just always awake. There's always something I have to do or want to do that keeps me up for days on end. Lately I've been designing some tattoos for friends + coming up with ideas of stuff to design+build for myself + upcoming birthdays bc I have no money, so I'm going to make random things. Some of my friends need furniture, some just like certain bands and movies that I can design stuff around. All of this goes along with my degree, so it gets me thinking + adding to my portfolio.

I worry and work on the laptop.I feed animals too. We always get home so late, that we are feeding in the dark most of the time. I love summer , cause the sun is higher in the sky and is up for so much longer her in the North country.

I think I'm a bit obsessive-compulsive because every so often I'll get into something like, say, organizing my files. And I'll have to do it RIGHT NOW and I can't sleep until I've completely finished sorting all my files. Same with if I find a game online or if I'm start watching a show online. Usually I'll then be bored as hell the next day because I already did everything the night before

Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?

I'm a night person. SO the question, for me, would have to be "What keeps you up days?" And that answer would be games as well.

Lately the things keeping me up are heat and stupid things that don't bother me much but are left in my mind at the end of the day and manifest into a stressful or kinda scary dream that keeps me from getting good sleep. We had a rat problem at work a few months back, hadn't been seeing them but for some reason had a dream I couldn't keep up with them getting into everything. However, the next day I did find a bag of dogfood nibbled on. My spidey sense was kicking in bigtime last week.

I HATE it when my brain plays that game with me! But with rats running around, I have no doubt that it would have been!

Well rats would definetly keep me up. I have this phobia of mice or rats.

The good thing for me though is I do enjoy staying up late just wish I could sleep in but it never seems to work.

No phobia or anything, I just find them icky! I sleep days as I'm much more mentally alert at night. Always have been.

I used to keep pet mice. I have nothing against rats. They're cute, if anything.

It's the same with me, ACCER. I find it a lot easier to sleep during the day than at night.

Yeah I'm not afraid of rats or anything, they just annoy me because rodents have to chew on things. Spiders are another thing. Yeeech. And hearing my brother the other day fumbling to kill a centipede. I was so mad. "We have centipedes now?" I swear I hadn't seen one in this house and we've lived here for a year.

I couldn't tell you, it's like my brain won't shut off. I worry about all sorts of things but I don't actively worry about them at night. Alot of times when I am stressed I have random songs running through my head and they won't stop!

A friend of mine had problems where her brain wouldn't shut off like that, happy. She said what worked for her was to right down everything she was thinking - basically doing a brain dump - before she tried to go to sleep. I don't know if it would work for you, but you could try it.

I like to put on music when I'm like that. It gets my mind off of things, and it's easier to fall asleep with music playing (lightly).

I think that problem happens to me a lot, too much on my mind. I try to write things down if it's very important to remember. If I recall, I think I've heard it could be a real medical problem!

My daughter likes to stay up until like 12 sometimes. That and I have been having some severe back problems lately. So yeah, nothing seems to let me sleep. But all in all, I get maybe a total of 25 hours of sleep in 2 weeks.

I get plenty of sleep and rarely have trouble sleeping. The only problem I have is with dreaming. Sometimes it feels like I dream all night long and I only got half the amount of rest for the amount of time I slept...
Actually, haha, it might have something to do with the sleep talking and walking I do. nvm
