anybody use satellite radio?
my family just got the new Yukon by GMC and its amazing, it came with three free months of XM and my dad bought it. I think its worth every penny. I am also able to listen to it through the internet Smile all i gotta do is log into the site.

Anyone else use satellite radio?

I'm not into the whole paying for radio. Plus, I mostly listen to the news of the day over the air.

2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!

Sirius Satellite Radio, My mother just bought a 2007 Suburban and XM came with it, XM sucks. For christmas im changing her over to Sirius. I rather pay for radio and get full uncensored shows, then listen for free when they can't say the word shit.

I don't have satellite radio, but I've heard it a couple of places and liked their programming for retro songs.

As for new music, I don't like the idea of a few companies having that much control over breaking new artists, though.

I don't have Satellite radio, but once I rented a car that had it and it was great! I loved the Comedy channels the best. It was a totally relaxing way of driving, listening to comedy! As soon as I can, I will get myself one of those, but right now money is too tight! So, I just prefer to listen to cds and occasionally listen to the news and traffic while I'm driving. I think Satellite radio really is worth it!

We are planning on getting it here fairly soon. I wasn't sure which one for sure we were going to go with. But my husband want to get Sirrus because he wants to be able to listen to the Howard Stern Show. So that is the one we will probably go with. I kind of like the idea of all the different kinds of music and stations offered.

My brother-in-law has Sirius in his car and absolutely loves it. I think he actually drives around just to listen to the satellite radio. Is it a bad sign when you have a better stereo system in your car then in your home?

Listening in the car is better than listening at home. You watch screens at home as opposed to just listening to stuff.

The new HD Radio is going to destroy them both.

Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today?
Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection.
Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!

I heard this too, but I also heard the fcc would shoot down the merger becaused it would lead to a monopoly
