In Cooperation With Picture Screening App wSwipe: Win an Exclusive Meet & Greet With Robbie Williams During his Tel Aviv Concert on 2nd May 2015
VIENNA, April 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
- wSwipe turns your mobile phone's lock screen into a dynamic and
personalized photo album
- VIP partner and exclusive content: wSwipe
[http://www.wswipe.com/partner/robbiewilliams ] ( http://www.wswipe.com/partner/robbiewilliams) launches and teams up with superstar
Robbie Williams for his "Let Me Entertain You" Tour
- Chance to win tickets and Meet & Greet for the show in Tel Aviv (2nd May 2015)
Robbie Williams is currently touring the world with his latest show, "Let Me Entertain
You". The tour's title could also be the tagline for wSwipe, a brand-new Android app. Gone
are the days of monotonous lock screen shots on smartphones. Austrian company abalo Media
GmbH developed wSwipe in a way that it regularly updates your screen lock with new
pictures from your social network feeds. Logging on to your social network accounts to
reminisce about your latest vacation or recent party nights out is therefore a thing of
the past. For its launch, wSwipe [http://www.wswipe.com/partner/robbiewilliams ]
(http://www.wswipe.com/partner/robbiewilliams) has won international superstar Robbie
Williams's cooperation for the duration of his "Let me entertain you" tour.
First things first: wSwipe is for free, and, for the time being, only available on
Android devices. As soon as a smartphone is activated, wSwipe turns its lock screen into a
dynamic photo album. Every time users lock their phone's screen, a different photo from
their social media feed shows up. Via the app's settings users decide which photos are
shown on their phones, and which aren't. Once installed, the app lets users choose between
several picture sources, such as Facebook or Instagram, for their lock screen photos.
After that, further selection criteria can be set up: Should all photo albums be the
source for lock screen pictures, or just one or two in particular? Which friends and sites
should the app access? The use of the application itself is easy as pie: the familiar
right swipe unlocks the screen, whereas swiping left takes users directly to the image
source.
Let me entertain you!
wSwipe has a special surprise in store for all the Robbie Williams fans out there. The
entertainer is currently on his world tour and official partner of wSwipe. Fans can now
subscribe to the app's Robbie Williams Channel, which will continuously provide them with
exclusive photo material of their favorite superstar. Each concert comes along with its
own raffle with prizes such as merchandising products, signed CDs, and concert tickets.
Tickets can be won for the concert in Tel Aviv (2nd May 2015). On top of that, fans can
win a Meet & Greet with Mr Robbie Williams himself. Accommodation and travel expenses are
included in the prize! For more information go to the wSwipe website ( http://www.wswipe.com/partner/robbiewilliams/Robbie-Williams-in-Tel-Aviv-02-may).
About wSwipe:
wSwipe turns lock screens into dynamic photo albums by drawing images from people's
Social Media feeds and turning them into a personalized news feed. wSwipe was created by
abalo Media Ltd. Since 2012, the company has been developing the latest technologies and
solutions to enable instant communication between users and their smartphones' lock
screens.

Coming Soon to Six U.S. Carriers and Retailers; LG G4 "Trial Program" Invites Consumers to See and Feel How Great a Smartphone Can Be
NEW YORK, April 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- LG Electronics (LG) unveiled its eagerly anticipated LG G4 smartphone today and announced that U.S. customers will be able to purchase it soon on Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and at Best Buy. The market has clearly responded enthusiastically for the G4, the anticipated successor to the G3, which exceeded all expectations in terms of sales and industry awards. Among the first users of the LG G4 will be 4,000 lucky customers from around the world who will receive the new smartphone before it goes on sale, as part of the company's largest-ever consumer experience campaign.
With the G4, LG focused on delivering comfortable elegance, a great visual experience and a human-centric user experience. The LG G4 camera features a rare-in-smartphones F1.8 aperture lens, which allows 80 percent more light to hit the image sensor than in the LG G3. The innovative camera module is paired with the new IPS Quantum Display that is better in every way than the innovative Quad HD display introduced to the world in the LG G3. The LG G4 embodies human sensibility that is clearly visible in its Slim Arc exterior design and graphical user interface.
"We are living up to our promise of innovation for a better life with a fashionable premium smartphone that is more focused on delivering a balanced user experience that can compete with the best of the best," said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. "We wanted to give consumers a truly human-centric device that combined the analog sensibilities with technologies that delivered real world performance. From the design to the camera to the display to the UX, this is the most ambitious phone we've ever created."
Comfortable & Elegant Design
LG paid special attention to the materials used in its newest flagship. The LG G4 is available in genuine full-grain leather in six beautiful colors. The meticulous tanning process employed is an age-old tradition that requires skilled craftsmen to produce and dye the leather. The colors of the leather on the G4 are rich with warm tones that look authentic and change over time. Other material options for the G4 rear cover include pure Ceramic White with 3D patterns, artisan-forged Metallic Gray as well as lustrous Gold.
The comfortable elegance of the LG G4 is a refreshing change from the uniformly flat, full metal designs that have been become standard across the industry. The LG G4's design is defined by the Slim Arc, which runs along its entire body and is highlighted by a display with a subtle curvature. More than just a design accent, Slim Arc offers 20 percent better durability than a flat smartphone in face-down drops and gives the smartphone a more comfortable and secure feel in the hand.
The exterior design is also reflected in the smartphone's user interface, which includes simple, naturally intuitive graphics. In the LG G4, the icon colors are more vibrant with icons that have rounded corners, consistent with the Slim Arc design. What's more, the Smart Notice widget automatically changes its background and text color based on the home screen image selected by the user.
Great Visual Experience
LG designed the 16MP camera in the LG G4 to capture beautiful images, even under less than ideal lighting conditions. The camera module features a wide F1.8 aperture lens that allows 80 percent more light to reach the sensor over LG G3. LG improved low-light performance even further with OIS 2.0, which doubles the performance of the improved OIS+ by expanding the range of image stabilization from one degree to two degrees on the X- and Y-axis and adding a third axis for the first time.
New for G4, Manual Mode allows experienced photographers the ability to exercise more artistic expression by letting them directly control the focus, shutter speed, ISO, exposure compensation and white balance for every shot. Advanced photographers can also save their photos in RAW format, in addition to JPEG, for more precise editing with no loss of details.
The advanced camera in the LG G4 is complemented by Color Spectrum Sensor (CSS), the first feature of its kind to find its way into a smartphone. CSS improves color accuracy by precisely reading the RGB values of the ambient light in a scene, as well as the infrared light reflected from objects. CSS uses this information to adjust the camera's white balance and flash color to create images that are as close to what one would see with the naked eye. With Color Spectrum Sensor, no longer will reds appear as bright orange or whites as dull yellow.
For selfies good enough to frame, LG included an industry-leading 8MP front-facing camera for sharp, detailed portraits and group shots. Gesture Shot has been improved by taking four shots spaced two seconds apart, increasing the chance of getting that perfect shot under the most difficult conditions. Triggering the shutter is as simple as opening and closing one's hand twice in front of the camera.
Taking a quantum leap in display technology, the LG G4 is the first smartphone to use LG Display's new 5.5-inch IPS Quantum Display, which offers 20 percent greater color reproduction, 25 percent improvement in brightness and 50 percent greater contrast over LG G3. This new display is calibrated for DCI (Digital Cinema Initiatives) standards for color expression, championed by top Hollywood studios.
Power and Performance
With G4, the higher quality display doesn't come at the expense of battery life. The LG G4 is equipped with a high-capacity 3,000mAh removable battery, a rare feature in today's high-end smartphones. Combined with the benefits offered by the snappy yet energy-thrifty Qualcomm(®) Snapdragon(TM) 808 processor with X10 LTE, the LG G4 has no trouble getting through a full day of normal use. In fact, the LG G4 is estimated to last 20 percent longer than the G3, from the same capacity battery.
To mark the first public unveiling of its Snapdragon(TM) 808 processor, Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, executive chairman of Qualcomm International joined Mr. Cho on stage in New York City.
"LG and Qualcomm Technologies collaborated from the initial stage of the Snapdragon 808 introduction to expertly tune the technologies and make several of the LG G4's unique features possible," said Jacobs, "The resulting G4 smartphone is an ideal example of how the best optimized technologies come together to meet consumers' needs."
Human-Centric UX
The LG G4 is the first phone to use the new human-centric UX 4.0 that promises to be simpler and more intuitive to better understand and respond to the needs of each user. The improved UX eliminates unnecessary steps while providing more configuration options for advanced users.
-- Quick Shot allows customers to take pictures without opening the camera
app by double tapping the phone's Rear Key while the display is off. LG
G4 also has an incredibly fast camera startup time of just six-tenths of
a second.
-- The new Gallery makes it extremely fast to scroll through thousands of
pictures and view them on a timeline. The Memories feature automatically
organizes photos and videos into event albums based on the time and
place they were taken, without having to upload to the cloud.
-- Event Pocket allows users to create one, unified calendar by dragging
and dropping appointments and activities from multiple calendars and
social media sites. After the initial setup, there's no need to log into
multiple calendars.
-- The improved Smart Notice provides more personalized notifications for
weather, travel and more by analyzing habits, such as how a user
commutes to work. This allows Smart Notice to issue personalized

-- Lark tracks your bedtime and when you wake up in the morning
automatically. On days when you get less sleep, she helps you stay

towards your weight loss or fitness goals by meeting you where you are.

Kantar Media and comScore Announce First Joint Offering for Cross-Media Audience Measurement
LONDON, April 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Integrated Measurement Approach will deliver faster, smarter solutions for
advertisers and broadcasters
comScore, Inc. (NASDAQ : SCOR) and Kantar Media today announced that they are
introducing their first joint offering for cross-media audience measurement to key
clients. The announcement was unveiled at a joint industry roundtable in San Sebastian,
home to the 2015 I-COM Summit. This is the first outcome of the Kantar and comScore
strategic alliance announced earlier this year to provide world class cross-media audience
and campaign measurement capabilities to markets around the world.
Bringing together the leading experts on TV and internet audience measurement, both
companies have defined a roadmap together that addresses a range of reporting scopes and
the options of available measurement assets and techniques, including panels, meters,
tagging, home routers, return path data and census profiles.
There has been significant interest in the partnership from clients and industry
committees around the world. Based on this feedback, Spain has been identified as the
pilot market with initial findings expected later this year, and other markets to follow.
"As advertising spend on integrated cross-media campaigns increases, there is a
growing demand for solutions that bring together TV and internet audience measurement to
provide cross-media reach & frequency," said Andy Brown, CEO & Chairman of Kantar Media.
"We are pleased at the progress our research and technical teams have made in combining
different measurement techniques and designing a common approach. Cross-media measurement
solutions must be responsive to local needs so we have designed a framework that maximizes
the use of existing data sets and commercial considerations in any given market."
Serge Matta, CEO of comScore, added, "We are delivering on our promise to simplify the
deployment of global measurement capabilities and accelerate the creation of new services
for the industry. The customer response to our partnership was extremely positive, as the
market is eager to see cross-media measurement for both audiences and campaigns."
The defined scopes of reporting for an integrated measurement approach in addition to
core broadcast TV include:
- Extended TV - content broadcast in simulcast or on-demand on smartphones,
tablets desktops and OTT devices.
- Total Video - all video content from online platforms whether broadcast video
or not, such as YouTube.
- Total View - all online content whether video or text based, accessed via a
browser or app, on smartphones, tablets desktops and OTT devices.
Total View brings together gold-standard TV measurement and multi-platform online
measurement for a complete view of viewers' media usage on TV and online.
ComScore and Kantar are committed to working with clients to ensure that these new
tools complement and enhance industry audience data in each market.
In response to the needs of broadcasters, content owners and publishers to reduce the
operational overhead of measurement, comScore and Kantar Media have developed an
integrated tagging approach for web, video, and application measurement, allowing seamless
data sharing with explicit client permission but without requiring duplication of
implementations. Both companies will continue to support any tagging deployments under
existing contracts. The option to move to an integrated approach would be a decision for
the relevant joint industry committee or user group.

A major event hosted in the epicentre of London's startup community in Tech City has
attracted hundreds of technology enthusiasts from all over Europe.
'Inspiration Centraal' - the free event hosted by Dutch hosting company TransIP - has
so far seen more than 3,500 technology enthusiasts attend to hear talks from some of
London's most successful startup entrepreneurs, including MindCandy founder Michael
Acton-Smith and 'gaming industry godfather' Ian Livingstone.
Tech startup royalty aside, the event's 'schexy tech' theme and its pole dancing
robots - creations of the artist Giles Walker - have created a significant level of buzz
and some controversy in London's startup community.
The eight day event, which will draw to a close on Thursday, has been staged to
celebrate the UK launch of Dutch VPS, hosting and domain name company TransIP. TransIP is
the biggest provider of hosting services in the Netherlands, and has selected London as
its first overseas market.
"We chose Shoreditch and Tech City quite deliberately as our new home, as we are a fan
of London's growing stature as an international technology hub, but frankly our
expectations have been exceeded by the level of engagement we've experienced from the
startup community in this beautiful city," said TransIP CEO Jeroen Hüpscher.
"We've been blown away by the reaction to our event, the level of attendance and the
infectious enthusiasm for building a vibrant and successful startup ecosystem. There can
be no doubt that London - and in particular East London - is the startup capital of
Europe. We're looking forward to helping London consolidate this status by continuing to
give startups the technology infrastructure they need to realize their visions. This is
the exciting bit for us as a provider."
The robots will be pole dancing for the remaining four days of the event, along with
presentations from leading figures in the technology industry. Renowned trendspotter and
futurologist Magnus Lindkvist kicks off the event schedule this evening.
Rocket Manufacturer United Launch Alliance Will 3D Print Flight-Ready Rocket Components
ULA Has Vision to Reduce Launch Vehicle Cost by 50 Percent with Help of 3D Printing
3D printing helped consolidate part count from 140 to 16 parts for one complex assembly, lowering costs and risk
HONG KONG, April 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Do you think 3D printers are just a new fad for hobbyists or making knickknacks? Or limited to making prototypes? Don't tell that to rocket manufacturer United Launch Alliance (ULA).
Making launch vehicles for NASA, the Air Force and commercial satellites, ULA knows 3D printing is a serious tool that has been around more than 25 years and is a growing production process. And ULA knows a thing or two about critical applications. On the lower-end, its rockets cost a cool $165 million. And they must propel into space billion-dollar satellites weighing more than 60,000 pounds.
"It's about as demanding an application as you can get," says Rich Garrity, VP and General Manager Vertical Solutions Unit for Additive Manufacturing system maker Stratasys Ltd. (Nasdaq:SSYS). "Rockets must endure pressure, G-force, speed, vibration, heat, and extreme cold."
United Launch Alliance is the premier launch services company in the U.S., and with its heritage systems -- Atlas and Delta -- it has supported America's presence in space for more than 50 years. Like other leading edge manufacturers using 3D printing, ULA progressed from prototyping to tooling and then to flight hardware production.
After acquiring two Fortus 900mc 3D Production Systems from Stratasys, ULA began the process of updating the Environmental Control System (ECS) duct on the Atlas V, which will launch with the new 3D component in 2016. The ECS duct is critical to the countdown sequence of a launch, delivering nitrogen to sensitive electronic components within the rocket booster.
The previous design for the ECS duct assembly contained 140 parts, but by modifying the design using FDM 3D Printing Technology, ULA consolidated the number of parts to only 16. This significantly reduces installation time and results in a 57 percent part-cost reduction. Watch video.
ULA selected ULTEM 9085 FDM thermoplastic material to produce durable, high-performance end-use parts. "ULTEM 9085 has great strength properties over a wide temperature range," said Greg Arend, Program Manager for Additive Manufacturing at ULA. "We have done testing to show that it is very capable of withstanding temperatures from cryogenic all the way up to extreme heat. And it's tough enough to handle the vibration and stress of lift off and flight. We're very satisfied with its performance."
The Atlas V won't likely be the last launch vehicle incorporating 3D printing technology. ULA has ambitious plans to increase the quantity of 3D printed parts to over 100 on the next generation rocket.
"We see somewhat of an exponential growth in the utility of 3D printing for flight applications on our current vehicles," said Arend. "And we intend to use it heavily with our Vulcan rocket."

Breakthrough Educational App Now Available for iPad
Fountain Digital Labs' Virry, the breakthrough educational app that keeps wild animals
very real for children, today won the People's Choice Webby award in the mobile sites &
apps category of "Family & Kids". Virry is the first app that offers children, and
animal-loving adults, the opportunity to seemingly interact with exotic animals through
their iPad. Having just launched in test markets to date, Virry already has some celebrity
fans (see Editor's Notes) and is now available for free download in the iTunes Store.
In addition to innovative live animal video feeds, remotely operated by experienced
wildlife documentarians for BBC and Disney, what makes Virry different is that the game
mechanics are built into raw film footage of real wild animals. This creates a whole new
experience for children to encounter the animal world firsthand - from lions and meerkats
to giraffes and rhinos. For example, the child tilts the iPad to drop a hunk of meat for
Limun the lion and then shouts into the iPad to attract her attention to it and watches as
Limun apparently 'responds'.
Virry was created in collaboration with academic Prof. Gail F. Melson, an authority on
children's development and leader in the field of Human-Animal Interaction (HAI) at Purdue
University, USA. Author of Where the Wild Things Are: Animals in the Lives of Children,
Prof. Melson says:
"Virry supports children by broadening their perspective-taking in a self-directed
environment. This is vital for developing positive social skills. Virry also builds core
cognitive and learning skills in its interactive videos - skills like if-then reasoning,
multi-step problem-solving, understanding abstract concepts like more-less, bigger-smaller
- foundational skills for young children."
Recruiting only the brightest and the best, Virry creator Svetlana Dragayeva enlisted
the help of award-winning film director Martin Percy and production powerhouse, Unit 9 to
bring Virry to life. Svetlana Dragayeva, Innovation Director at Fountain Digital Labs
says:
"Virry allows children to experience real wild animals but doesn't overlay the
experience with crude animations, human emotions or anthropomorphism. Virry encourages
parents to use digital culture to nurture children through nature.
We are honoured to win a Webby having just launched in test markets to date. Now that
Virry is available to children globally, we look forward to hearing what they have to say
and their experiences with our animal family."
With an unusual development approach firmly rooted in sciences - formal (computer),
natural (Zoology), and social (psychology), a marked development characteristic for
Virry's creators has been the necessity to balance the virtual (app) and real (wildlife)
to create a fresh experience for animal loving 2-7 year olds.
Virry is filmed at Al Ain Zoo in the UAE (with more partnerships to come over time)
and is brought to life by an international team of academics, award-winning film industry
veterans, wildlife experts as well technology specialists. The result is an exceptionally
deep educational technology experience guided by nature.
You can learn more at http://www.virryapp.com. Virry is now available for free
download to iPad in the iTunes Store.
Editor's Notes
Celebrity Testimonials
Dominic West, Actor known for playing Det. Jimmy McNulty in The Wire
"I spent all morning on Virry with my two boys and we love it. We fed a lion and
watched a rhino live all from our living room sofa! It's a safe, educational and utterly
compelling way to learn about the animals we love. Get on it, it's brilliant!"
Steve Backshall
"This is a terrific gateway to the wild world, a chance for kids to reach out to
animals on the other side of the world. A young audience engage most effectively with
wildlife when they feel like they have an actual connection to the animals, as if they can
reach out and touch them, actually interacting with wild wonders. This ap enables the user
to do just that, watching exotic and iconic animals in real time, taking part as their
real lives and dramas unfold, whilst learning hot facts and playing games that let them
feel like they are a part of the animal's world."

Mentor Graphics Redefines the PCB Landscape with Affordable, High-Technology Design Solutions for the Independent Engineer
WILSONVILLE, Ore., April 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Mentor Graphics Corporation (NASDAQ: MENT) today announced the delivery of three new PADS(®) family products starting at unprecedented pricing of five thousand dollars to address the advancing needs of the independent engineer. The new PADS family provides for the wide spectrum of electronics complexity by combining ease of learning and use, characteristic of previous market-leading PADS products, with high-productivity design and analysis technologies and unprecedented price-performance value. It builds on the strong PADS legacy - production-proven on millions of designs by hundreds of thousands of engineers worldwide - and in some cases leverages certain technologies of the market-leading Xpedition(®) suite. Now the independent engineer has affordable access to the capabilities that distinguish the Mentor Graphics portfolio and enable higher design productivity, enhanced product quality, and cost and design cycle reduction.
These independent engineers are typically part of a small to mid-sized company, or members of an isolated team within a large enterprise (e.g. building prototypes, validating reference designs, and performing manufacturability studies), and perform the complete design, analysis and manufacturing data delivery of printed circuit board (PCB) electronic products. In the past, for engineers doing complex design, their only option was to look at enterprise solutions, and for many, these solutions were out of their reach due to budget and heavy infrastructure requirements.
As demands increase for the efficient design of electronic products, the burden often falls on independent engineers to perform the complete process but current lower-priced offerings run out of steam and do not support their complete needs. The design process can often include more than schematic entry and layout of the PCB and may require analysis such as signal integrity, thermal, design-for-manufacturability, and power distribution network integrity. As well, depending on the company, the complexity of the end-product can vary from relatively simple to extremely complex.
"The biggest pressure that we face is being able to produce a design that is good on the first run." stated Louis Demers, CTO, Obzerv Technologies, Inc. "The PADS tool suite is a very cost-effective design solution that tackles our most complex design challenges, as well as providing a growth path for our future needs. The advantage of going with PADS is that we will be able to converge toward a workable design much quicker, with fewer iterations, fewer expenses and quicker delivery to market. We will also have more time to be bold in our design, driving for maximum performance and functionality." Obzerv Technologies Inc. designs and manufactures high-end night-vision cameras for mid-range and long-range surveillance applications based on active imaging.
With the delivery of the three new PADS products (Standard, Standard Plus and Professional) starting at $5,000 including support, Mentor has combined classic PADS product ease of use with three levels of design technology at affordable pricing. This effectively creates a new category of PCB design solutions. The new PADS offerings leverage technologies found in the Mentor Graphics(®) flagship Xpedition product, to tackle the most advanced design complexity challenges. The Mentor® integration of these technologies into easy-to-use products meets critical needs for an independent engineer with broad design and analysis responsibility as they may only occasionally use a tool in the design process and they are required to quickly and efficiently employ the tool then proceed to the next step in the process.
The new products include:
-- PADS Standard - Schematic and PCB layout with starter parts library,
part creation wizard and archive management priced at $5,000 USD
including support.
-- PADS Standard Plus - PADS Standard, plus advanced constraint management,
high-speed net constraints and routing, central library creation and
management, HyperLynx® -powered signal/thermal/analog simulation, and
variants design priced at $10,000 USD including support.
-- PADS Professional - PADS Standard Plus, including Xpedition-powered
technologies such as sketch routing, simultaneous 2D/3D layout,
hierarchical placement planning, component and net explorers,
manufacturing prep and design review/compare priced at $18,000 USD
including support.
"To achieve maximum engineering efficiency and to optimize our products, our engineers work on board projects from concept through simulation and layout, all the way into manufacturing," stated John Sherman, vice president, Astek Corporation. "They need to use a broad set of tools, which means tools must be easy to pick up after a period of non-use. They also push the edge on product complexity, with high-frequency, high-density designs. We believe the PADS technology will enable us to easily tackle our complexity challenges, optimizing the productivity of our multi-disciplinary engineers." Astek Corporation provides storage solutions, test and measurement equipment, and electronic design services for the embedded market.
Technologies in the PADS products that differentiate them from the market include:
-- Correct-by-construction methodology: Enabled by a common constraint
management system used across the flow to support advanced high-speed
topologies and design for manufacture, minimizing design cycle
iterations by getting it right the first time.
-- Integrated, accurate, easy-to-use analysis and verification technology:
Designers can virtually prototype their system powered by the HyperLynx
product with signal/power integrity analysis, analog or thermal
simulation and advanced full-board rule checks, minimizing expensive,
time-consuming physical prototype cycles.
-- Highest performing, highest capacity layout environment: Leverages
industry-leading technology powered by the Xpedition product for
placement/planning, 2D/3D layout, dynamic power distribution design, and
constraint-driven routing including the Sketch Router(TM) tool to tackle
the most complex layouts.
-- Part library access: Engineers can use over 360,000 parts via
PartQuest(TM), a fully integrated website that also merges Digi-Key part
numbers with symbols and footprints, reducing manual errors and saving
time and cost.
-- Manufacturing preparation: Validation of the design for fabrication and
test, and preparation for manufacturing hand-off and documentation.
-- Maintenance of data integrity: Management and archiving of different
design revs, and simplification of reviews across the organization.
"Mentor Graphics has long been known for providing market and technology leading solutions for team design in large enterprises with our Xpedition product line as well as our classic PADS offerings," stated AJ Incorvaia, general manager of Mentor Graphics Systems Design Division. "But as the industry grows there is more need for higher productivity design capabilities for the independent engineer. With the PADS product offerings we can better serve the independent engineer with scalable price-performance options from lower priced options up to highly complex design and analysis powered by Xpedition technologies. And as the design organization expands, we offer seamless scalability to our Xpedition Enterprise platform."

Drag and Drop Digital Signage Updated Over the Internet
ERIE, Pa., April 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The TV Sign has created a revolutionary and easy to use digital signage solution that will save businesses money while increasing sales. This simple solution is a mini-computer that plugs directly into the HDMI input on any TV and updates the signage created on the drag and drop Signage Editor via the internet. From anywhere in the world the drag and drop Signage Editor can be used to create, schedule and update signage content to multiple signage displays at multiple locations. This is an incredibly powerful solution that usually costs thousands of dollars that has been conveniently wrapped up as an SaaS (Software As A Service) with a low monthly fee of $50.
James Moelk, co-founder, web developer and technology specialist for The TV Sign said this with regards to its simplicity:
"The technology has been out there, we just brought it all together to create an incredibly powerful yet simple to use digital signage solution that doesn't require a technology degree to operate."
The TV Sign is loaded with advantages and features that can be dragged onto the signage canvas using their online editor. Some of the most popular features are Facebook galleries, RSS feeds, videos and live video feed via uStream. These features allow you to display product demonstration videos, engage customers in a waiting room, display local weather, show related news RSS feeds and much more. All of the signage can be scheduled to run at different times or until a specific date in the case of a sale. Perhaps one of the greatest features is the easy setup, it only takes about five minutes and your signage is running on your TV or digital display. The TV Sign has created a simple install video that demonstrates just how easy setting up The TV Sign is: http://thetvsign.com/learning-resources/
Lance Lehr, co-founder and long time restaurateur recognized the industry's need for this type of solution at an affordable price:
"This is an obvious solution for Menu Boards as you can quickly update prices, manage multiple locations and schedule different lunch and dinner menus to display. There are no printing costs or employee time required to change out the boards."
The TV Sign solution saves money while generating additional sales and revenues. Many of their current clients are selling ad space alongside their own promotions to increase revenue. One bar was approached by a liquor vendor to promote their brand of rum for $300 a month. This is just the tip of the iceberg; QSR's (quick service restaurants) save money using digital signage by not having to reprint static menu boards. QSR's also get the proven added benefit of increased sales when switching from print to digital menu boards.
The pricing is simple, The TV Sign charges a one-time $100 setup fee which includes the equipment. After that it is only $50 per month. The TV Sign has no contracts and comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
