10th planet

It seems that the descussion on wether Pluto is a planet will be sparked once again.

You know...I really don't know what the point is.
Who really cares about another planet in our Solar System? I don't.
How about this planet? How about instead of spending millions of dollars on this sort of crap, we start fixing the planet we are on now and not worry about some stupid planet we will never be able to occupy let alone learn anything productive from....


Oh wait..maybe there could have been life there at one time? WHO THE HELL CARES? There's nothing there now...leave it be and forget about it..GAWD!

Back in the 80's there was "Discovery" of a planet beyond Pluto. They(NASA, whoever) could not figure out what it was.
Basically it ended up being a cluster of asteroids together that appeared to be a planet...well. How many dollars were lost and how much knowledge was gained? BAH!

I laugh at science. Most science these days is based on theories and ideas..well goodie gumdrops..let's see some hard core science news, let's see a cure for cancer or a cure for the friggin common cold, not some hokey pokey BS about another friggin planet.

This kind of crap will continue long after you and I are gone from THIS planet..and do you thing it will make a difference? Really? It won't.

In these cases, IMO I agree with the old saing..."Curiosity killed the cat"
