What is it with anime characters and their arms?

In almost every action anime at least lose there arms in battle or for no apparent reason. I want to kind of know how and why. I mean sometimes it's legs or losing eyesight. But the arms thing is so common. For example, in Naruto Shippuden Deidara gets his literally ripped off, But the past with Naruto, Orochimaru lost the abilty in his arms from the Third Hokage. In Bleach, Tosen just chops Grimjows arm of for no reason. Oh Zaku from naruto get his arms injured by Sasuke. I mean why can't it be a foot or a hand. Mabye one eye.
But I say the arm disappearance is very common in animes.

yeah that is common but do you know whats more common, scares on peoples face even on the first apearence, youve got narutos whiskers (they are scares in the shape of whiskers) who knows how meny scares are in one peice and the bold guy on bleach. but another common thing is guys whos eyes you cant see theres kakashi diadarathe first time you see kimimaru you cant see his eyes theres the hat guy on bleach and thosends more that I cant think of right now.

Well yeah I remeber other arm incidents. But I thought it was so weird with arms disappearing is so common.

Why do most evil guys have black or dark hair?? I mean I know it sort of fits wit them but...why cant it be different!?!?!? >.< Sorry thought I'd throw it in there!

the black hair signifies evil that is also the same reason why they usual wear very dark clothing or in oruchi-marus case dark eye liner. see black and dark colors signify evil and darkness. thus that most bad guys were good at one time but had something horrible happen that threw them into the darkness. take sasuke for example. he was a good kid but between itachi kiling his family and oruchi-maru giving him a chance at revenge he became one of the bad guys
