Official "I hate Comcast" thread!

I figured that a Comcast hate thread is in order!

Let's all celebrate how much they suck. This the fifth outage I've had to reset the modem to fix. Either they give me a new modem or...

Actually, I'm switching to Fios.

I too am waiting for FiOS.

optomum online is good but idk if you have that in your area...

I personally love Comcast, online because of "Something Weird on Demand" by my guy has a lot of problems with them and their billing department. They kept charging him double, because they still had him listed at his old address and wouldn't change it!

Yeah Comcast's billing department sucks...their service...SUCKS. I thought that my comp was running low on virtual mem at one point then I thought wait its the internet messing up not my comp so i called...talked to a rep...didnt know what the hell an RF signal was...took about 2hrs to find someone that did and the result..."uhhh gee i guess we are going to have to send someone out" NO dont IT COSTS the CUSTOMER money for that to happen...In the end when I got my service back up it turned out that my cables were twisted and mangled so i went from 90-101Mbps to 105-160Mbps its funny how no one there would of thought of that...damn communists...

comcast internet sucks. my friend has it and it's slow as hell. DX but comcast digital cable rocks! =D anime network on demand makes my heart smile. ^.^ lol

All I have to say is that their customer service is god awful. I hope I never have to contact their CS again.

I have the option of FiOS. It is no cheaper than cable. I may try the service for a month to see how it is, though.

I read the blog over at consumerist.com... it seems like every other story is about Comcast and their terrible service.

Try it.. if you like it, keep it. The reason we got FiOS was because my dad HATES cablevision.. He even had cable come and remove the wire that was connected to the house.. it was great.

YO SEV !!!! Time Warner Cable's time for cartoon network is the right time comcast they have 2 hours earlier dish 3 hours later and tivo ummmm think its 30 min after

beacause ..................cartoon network and adult swim is a time warner company channel btw do you have on demand b/c in my opinion thats the best on demand!!!!!!!

MythTV also works well.

nah anime network isnt free, but tis cheap 5$ a month for a ton of anime. optimum is sick though.

Ok, I feel REALLY left out because where I live you can't get DSL at all. And we don't even HAVE comcast to pick from. We have Verizon (only dial up, which is like 21.99 for dial up!!, um NOT), I use PeoplePc (again dial up)but at least it only costs me 9.95. URG

i feel your pain...I used to live in with JUST dial up...didnt even know broadband exist at that time neither... I was isolated from the world lol
