Grammys

I didn't watch the Grammys last night, but I saw the highlights on the news this morning.

I would have liked to see The Police. Did anybody watch the whole show?

I watch most of it, but since I am in Germany, the transmition was bad at the begining. I heard the Police, but didn't "see" them until the end of the song "Roxanne". Then, I enjoyed Shakira's performance. In general, I was happy with the Dixie Chicks wining the way they did! They deserved it big time! Of course I am exhasted, since it started at 2 am and ended at 5:15 am!!!

I was glad to see the Chill Peppers take home a couple grammys, there album is great and I think they deserved it

The Dixie Chicks are a bunch of assholes and shouldn't have won the award. The people that do the Grammy's are a bunch of assholes.

I'm not crazy about anything in mainstream music right now. I think the Grammy's aren't about the best musicians. It's a popularity contest. Whoever can get the most people to buy their crap through any means necessary wins.

The show sucked. The only thing that was good about it was the Police reunion... Oh yeah, I fell asleep before It came on .

Oh, but I did enjoy the Shakira performance.

The Police reuinion was good shit. I love their drummer.

Wait, why are The Dixie Chicks assholes?

ALSO; Did Justin Timberlake win anything for FutureSex/LoveSounds? Because he should have.

I think the Dixie chicks rock! They are very good within their style, have shown how versatile they can be and are very talented! Besides, it was just great that they won all those Grammys after a bunch of narrow minded rednecks didn't support them just because they expressed their opinion! About Timberlake, I couldn't care less. The Chili Peppers were also interesting. And with the Police was certainly a surprise, even though I only heard them, and saw only the last few seconds until the signal was stable.

I think my explanation will suffice.

I am with Aron on that one. However the Red Hot Chili Peppers performance was good.

It's sad that the Chili Peppers won a grammy for that mediocre record. I guess there wasn't much competition though.

I heard The Dixie Chicks won something in the area of 5 grammy's? I bet Toby Keith is pissed.


And Justin should have won something. That guy is nuts and so was his album.

I am also *not* a fan of the Dixie Chicks. Natalie needs to keep her mouth shut before the group falls apart.

In my opinion, the BEST part of the entire show, hands-down, was the Police reunion. Sting ROCKS!!!!
