Team 16

Wally woke up in a daze, he tried to remember what had happened. his whole body felt numb, the room was silent. about a minute after he woke up a voice appeared. "so, as expected, the speedster is the first to wake up." it said, it was a male voice. another voice was heard in the background "you better hope it works this time, after your last failing attempt we really do need a working team." it said, this one was more gruff, a more demanding sound in his voice like he was in charge of more people then he had time for.
"What's going on?" Wally tried to ask but it came out so fast that it didn't make sense.
"woah woah, slow down." the nicer voice said "let me explain whats happening then we can talk."
"that's what I asked you to do." Wally tried to say, but again it came out too fast."
"Can we hurry this up, I would like to get this team up and running as fast as possible, I need to know that million dollar grant we gave you hasn't been for nothing." the gruff voice said impatiently.
"ok then I will give you the short version, in the 1960s the american government was doing experiments with genetics, and we discovered that some humans had Dormant genes inside of them, these Dormant genes could be awoken by adding a chemical we only discovered three years ago. these genes gave humans abilities that was only thought to exist in comic books. sadly we haven't had a sucessful test yet. the first 14 test subject Died or even destroyed the texting facilities in fiery explosions. and the 15th test subjects, well, they kind of went rouge." he said
"blah blah blah, the point is you are the 16th team of subjects that we have created and this time instead of only looking at Genetic make up for the team we also looked at personality" the gruff voice said
"we don't have much time, sense you where the first to wake up I am promoting you to captain of the team" he said
"I will wake the others and brief them." the nicer voice said
"make it fast." the gruff voice said then the door opened.

an hour later everyone was in a large room that was used for meetings.
"Hello, I am General Ford and this little guy is Dr. R.J. Lucas he is the one who found out how to make this possible." a large man said, he had been the gruff voice wally had heard earlier, and the skinny one was the nice voice.
Dr.Lucas spoke "you where all friends before this happened, it helps team work if you all already trusted each other." he said "in order of Ranking these are your new teammates, please remember them for they will be your greatest assets.

you are now team 16." he said

Dr. Lucas spoke "Your first mission is to go to the kaitocorp building and find this person (He hands out a photo of Wake) he is a person of interest, you need to be careful if confronting him" he says but is cut off by wally..."I got it team we go and find this guy come on lets hurry up and make our first mission a success" he says impatient. (General Ford) "Ok your enthusiasm is great but...." he is stopped mid sentence by Dr. Lucas. (Frank) "Don't you think we need more information Wally" he says but wally stands up with a proud look.."we don't need any we can handle a mission to locate this guy" he says
The rest of the team looks uneasy but Dr. Lucas smiles.."ok team you heard you captain go" he says. As the team is escorted to the hangar and enter a vehicle to go to kaitocorp.
(Ford) "Are you sure that was best" he asks but Dr. Lucas just smiles.."This will help them, besides im quite anxious to see what happens" he says turning on a monitor.

The team arrives into the building and don't see anyone in the coorporate place..."Tommy scan" wally says "Already way ahead of you" he replies using telepathy to see if she can hear anyones thoughts throughout the building .. "Nope nothing.. wait im getting something.. downstairs theres some people in a room...No..stop get back" he says repeating the peoples thoughts she is hearing and with that wally speeds off making it to the panic room before Frank could stop him. Wally looks at the door .."Ok" he says to himself using super speed to look all around for a way to open it then he tries to vibrate inside like the flash but he screams in pain as his body just got this power and cannot handle the stress it puts on him yet. After a minute frank comes down with the rest of the team..."Step aside" he says Punching the door down with ease. "Showoff" wally says as they walk inside the panic room and its huge with reinforced walls. George pulls out his gun getting ready for anything and sarah starts a fire in her hand to see further inside and they see a large amount of people unconscious. (Sarah) "OH my god are these people ok" she asks. "They are fine, they just have been attacked" he says checking if these people are ok. They hear something get closer the clacking of someone walking forward and it is Wake as he comes into the light. "Did you do this" Wally says but wake is silent. "Answer me" he orders but wake is still silent. "You know what fine George" he says as george takes a couple of shots but they bounce off him, he turns to quick for the eye to follow and bend Georges gun. Sarah blasts him with a huge ball of fire and he is gone. "good, burnt to a chrisp, alrigh mission accom..." Wally began but then wake grabbed him and throw him to the other side of the room, Frank grabs Wake and flings him across the room aswell, but wakes arm stretches out and grabs Frank pulling him they struggle for a bit, franks strength matched by wakes but then wally comes running over and punchs wake a hundred times until he lets go of frank. George loads his gun with armor peircing bullets and shoot wake who falls to the ground from the impact. "good, now read his mind tommy." Wally said. Tommy starts to read his mind but is suddenly bombarded with thoughts "to many thoughts, IT HURTS" he screams. "whats the matter tommy, to many people talking at once?" wake thinks then he picks up frank and throws him at wally, who dodges him, but he hadn't realized that serah and george where behind him, they where all knocked down, except for him. Wally ran around wake making a tornado and began punching wake as many times as possible wake was moving as fast as he was though, until he landed a hit in wallys face. then wally got up "how are you keeping up with me?" he said then he started running as fast as he could, Wake had no chance of keeping up, but that didn't matter because as soon as he started punching wake the lights came on and a shock from the ground knocked wally away from him. "bravo, well done." Dr. Lucas said "I would like to introduce your newest team mate Wake Fuller" he said.

"Doc? what are you doing here? why didn't Tommy read you?"Wally asked confused.
"special room, blocks mental wavelengths. this was just a bit of a test, as well as an introduction to a more successful experiment that we decided could help you. you see Wake wasn't a part of the super human soldier experiment, he was the first successful Biomachanic humanoid, or Cyborg, to be created by the Government." Lucas said "as you can see he has more strength then any normal human, about the same as frank does right now, he can move at speeds that a car wishs it could go, and he is resistent to fire. bullets won't penetrate, armor peicing rounds mearly slow him down, and incindiaries, well, those will mess up his hard drive if they get in, only his outer shell is fireproof." Lucas said "oh and his mind is completly human." he smiled proud of wake, due manly to the fact that Lucas had created him.
"Hi." Wake said turning and walking out of the room. "I'll be leaving now, try not to speak to me until the next mission." he said.
"don't mind him, he is just a bit antisocial. has been since he was a real human." Lucas said. "anyway, he is right we should get back to base, mission debriefings and power training await."Dr.Lucas said walking in the same direction wake had left.
"I'll meet you there." Wally said, then he took off in the direction of the base, he made it there in less then a second.

the air was fantastic, the cameras buzzed in the lawn of the white house. Wally was jumping up and down with anticipation. the President of the united states walked onto the stage and waved at all the people who had come for the confrence. "Now, I know that I promised a confrence on the end of the war, but I had to keep the secret for just a little longer. today I reveal the one thing america has suceeded in something thought to only exist in comics. We have created the first super humans. I present, team 16." the president said as wally ran so fast it was as if he appeared next to the president. "ThanksprezletmejustsayitisanhonortobehereinDCandihopethat...."he said so fast that it was impossible to understand "slow down captain." frank said walking up "you know they can't understand you when you move your lips that fast."
"sorry." Wally said smiling.

"are you sure this is smart?" the colonel said "I would have liked to have a few missions where no one knew what they where."
"ofcurse it is smart, I am the genius who created them. this is the only way to get team 15s attention. the only way to draw them out before they decide to do something like take over the world or something." the doctor said.
"yeah, like they could defeat the american army." the colonel said and the doctor just looked at him. "alright, so we need to make sure team 16 doesn't go bad like team 15." he said.
