Cartoons: Family Guy, American Dad, Metalopocalypse, misc other adult swim shows.

Anything else you all waiting for?

Ok, so maybe in the past tv has been better. Babylon 5/DS9/X-files were all running at the same time at times. Still. Good shit, no?

I think it's funny in way that was unintended, but I hate metal; so I don't understand many of the jokes.

Nah, Metalopocalypse is like Venture Bros. It's a parody by people that enjoy the source material which they're parodying. So, like venture bros, people who have no idea whatsoever about the source material may not enjoy it.

I guess it really depends on the kind of metal you like and how well you know the metal culture but truly, to metalheads who know some things about black or death metal (which is what the show pokes fun at) that show is hilarious.

Then perhaps they're taking it too seriously? Or taking metal too seriously? Both can be troublesome for enjoying the show and in general as well.

Either way, I love this show. I think it his the nail on the head perfectly for black//death metal bands and fans alike.
