Anyone know about this anime?

Apparently it has some really rough shit. Like, uh, child rape.

Somehow my boyfriend's sister got a hold of it. Now she, nor anyone else in the home, is allowed to watch it.

So is it any good? Worth watching meaningless gore and rape?

Its an OK show. It's just that in the first 5 seconds THERE IS MASS BODY PARTS FLYING THROUGH THE AIR HAVING BEEN MYSTERIOUSLY RIPPED FROM THE BODY OF ITS OWNER! But it's ok if you wanna watch it. From what I gathered its about a sad girl on a killing spree. OH yea, there is no Rape but partial sensless nudity of the killer.

It wasn't exactly subtle.

It's sad and awesome at the same time. There are better animes but if some one was going to put this one on I would not object.

Rape? wtf? there is no rape in elfin lied, just massive gore. This is probly the second saddest anime (nothing is worse than vampire princess myu) that had a great story line. they really pushed it with the gore, but i loved the idea. there is also parital nudity. if you like the anime, the manga is REALLY good. If anyone wants, i can upload it all.

I never said there was rape. As for the saddest anime I have ever seen. This does no compare to Grave of the Fire Flies in the least bit. Haven't seen Vampire Princess Miyu so I dunno.

I don't really care if there's a rape scene, it's just, is it really worth watching if I have to sit through lots of gore? I mean, I can be a gore-whore, but if I want that, I'll just rent DeadAlive.

I own the anime, and I don't recall any rape scenes, at all.

There was excessive gore and nudity, though. Both were completely unnecessary.

Does anyone know what episode the supposed rape was in? I really don't recall it.

yeah, I was kind of surprised they were named like Friends episodes too.

(in all seriousness, episodes 5 and 8 have flashbacks according to the wiki so i'd start looking there.)
