Annapolis

Anyone seen the previewes for this? I, personally, think it looks horrible. It was supposed to have been depicting the Annapolis Naval Academy. It obviously has something wrongly shown about the Naval Academy in it, because the Naval Academy refused to let them film it in there. It's being filmed in Princeton and Philedelphia. It looks terrible. What do you guys think?

It is the trend to go against the government in media today. I wouldn't expect this movie to go against the trend.

Yes, damn those liberals controlling the Media! At any rate, even from watching the trailers one can tell that it has some thematic and plot elements stolen straight out of Top Gun. That movie was cheesy during the 80s and hasn't aged well, so I can't imagine why anyone would want to re-use stuff from it.

I wouldn't let people make movies there either. It's strictly a place for the military as far as I know...

Last I checked, it was a Naval academy (as in, a school). People teach and be taught there, it's not much of a base. It has mostly training grounds.

They could have let them on the site easily and with reason, but they had no reason. They disagreed with the content in the movie's script, and the Naval Academy was being falsely shown.
