Advertising ASE

I'm seriously considering starting an ad campaign to promote ASEville and the other sites. I'm surprised that ASEville hasn't taken off yet considering it is member supported. The UArt section alone is amazing (if I do say so myself... which I do).

Suggestions? I really need help on this stuff.

I think it's a great idea! Where were you thinking of running ads?

I have no idea. This is not my area of expertise after all. I hope that everyone that posts on other forums puts a link back to ASE though .

I'm hoping that someone has some experience with adverts enough to help me out.

I would think about contacting the advertising departments at tech sites like thinkgeek, and maybe news sites like slashdot. Advertising can get expensive, but it has a definite positive side.

or on sourceforge - I am sure there a a lot of people who click some of those ominous liks at the top of page when downloading something....
but slashdot would be the icing on the cake...

I gave you a nicer plug on the bottom of my page...who knows, maybe it will help a bit...
