Anime Threads Idea

I was thinking about some stuff and was wondering if anyone would want to see Anime Threads turn into an anime news site in addition to just the plain old forums? I certainly wouldn't be doing any of the news posting, but the community is more than welcome to if wanted.

I know many members have a pulse on the latest and greatest from the anime world, so what do you say?

Well I'm down for that. I am always up to date on naruto and somewhat on bleach. I know when every episode comes out and when a new chapter is released

well...... ok i guess you wont be seeing me post any thing because i really don't have any up dates on any thing any more nor will i ever.

Will this be similar the the news feature that Anime Threads used to have?

I don't think I can contribute that much, but I'm getting back my interest in anime now. I'm down for it.

It would be as simple as posting to a forum.

The news would be highlighted on the front page from that forum. Only certain members would be able to start threads in that forum for news posts.

lol i dunno, i guess it sounds okay. I can find some news like.. every week maybe? I dunno. Well, i'll try to help if you want.

I'm working on something for ASE Labs right now. When it's done, I'll get down to making this for Anime Threads. I think Anime Threads should be more than just another forum, we should be able to provide excellent anime news that members can post.

Ive got my fingers on most of the less known releases, I'd Be glad to help out, links included.

I'll try my best to tell you the things i know about anime.

No, Anime Threads had a different index that showed the latest posts and stuff instead of the generic forum index page. The new index will incorporate something similar.

Like I said, once the new thing is released for ASE Labs, I'll begin work on this.
