Omega-3s are found at high concentrations in oily fish and foods like flax seeds. Another class of lipid, omega-6 fatty acids, is common in meat. The Western diet has become strongly skewed towards the consumption of omega-6 fatty acids over omega-3s, and this is believed to contribute to an increased incidence of heart disease, cancer, diabetes and other diseases.

The company aims to develop cheaper rockets. Falcon 1 would cut the costs of space travel by having a reusable first stage - its launch cost $6.7 million, less that a quarter of the price of comparably sized rockets. The company says its sister rocket Falcon 9 - which has nine engines to Falcon 1’s one - could eventually carry crew or cargo to the International Space Station.

After another delay in the release of its Windows Vista operating system, Microsoft last week put a new executive in charge of future Windows projects and replaced several other managers. The changes are designed to better align Microsoft's desktop and Internet software teams and get products to market faster.
